This recipe was given as a gift from a young Swedish girl, Ms. Carlsson, who came to this country to work. She spoke 7 different languages and could take shorthand in all those languages. By the way – she came alone.

This is a famous Swedish dish, normally served with fruit preserves or lingonberries. Some Swedish families considered it part of their traditional Thursday night dinner, following the main dish of pea soup with pork.
