Rosie’s Overnight Buns Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 packets yeast
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 cups warm water (104 degrees F)
  • 12 cups flour

DIRECTIONS

1. Start at 3:00PM. Mix everything together and kneed for 10 minutes. Put in a large covered, greased bowl in a warm spot.

2. Punch down after 2 hours. Let rise and punch again. Do this a few times.

3. Around 9:30 PM, form into buns. Shape anyway you want. Makes 5 to 6 dozen. Place on greased cookie sheets. Sit out covered with a towel overnight.

4. Around 7:00 AM, bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.
