- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups apples
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping:
- 1 cup flour
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2/3 cup butter
DIRECTIONS
Cream shortening & sugars, add eggs & milk. Sift dry ingredients together and combine with wet ingredients. Pour into 9×13 inch pan.
Mix topping ingredients until crumbly and put on cake before baking. Depending on oven, bake for 30-50 minutes at 350 degrees F or until toothpick comes out clean.
