Lemon Jello Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

3 sticks butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 – 3 ounce packages lemon jello, divided
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

DIRECTIONS

Mix together the flour and baking powder. Beat until fluffy the butter, sugar and ONE PKG of the jello. Add the egg and vanilla. Gradually add the flour mixture and blend well.

Roll into one in. balls, flatten with a glass, sprinkle with remaining jello and bake in a 400 degrees F oven for eight to ten minutes.
