INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds of hamburger
  • 2 cans of corn
  • 4 large diced potatoes
  • 4 sliced carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bottle of ketchup
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 roll of heavy duty tin foil
  • 1 Sharpie marker

DIRECTIONS

Build a fire or start charcoal to have ember coals. Tear off 8 – 12 inch x 18 inch pieces of tin foil. Lightly spray the foil with Pam if you have it. Place an even amount of hamburger, corn, potatoes, onion and butter onto the center of each piece of foil. Bring the long sides of the foil together and make 1″ folds until folded tight. Flatten each of the ends and make 1 inch folds until you can’t fold any more. Write your name on the top and bottom of your meal. Place the meal folded side down on the coals, turn it over after 10 minutes and cook for 10 more minutes. Carefully open and season with salt, pepper, and ketchup.

Alternatives:
Substitute the hamburger with chicken, stew meat, venison, shrimp, etc. Use pre-sliced canned potatoes or Ore-Ida Potatoes O’Brien. Use pre-sliced canned carrots. Add mushrooms, peppers or basically anything you want!
