DESCRIPTION
Use 12 or 14 inch Dutch oven.

- biscuit dough
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 bottle of vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
Heat 2 to 3 inches of oil in a Dutch oven with 24 coals on the bottom. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a large bowl. Roll pieces of dough out into 3 inch diameter rings or 3/4 inch diameter balls. Carefully place the dough in the oil and cook until all of the slides are golden brown. Place the hot dough in a bowl and shake the bowl until the donuts are evenly coated. Remove and place on paper towels to cool.
Options: Roll the dough around small pieces of fruit like apples and peaches for fritters.
