DESCRIPTION
This frosting is quick and easy to make. You can use it on any cutout cookies or sugar cookies.

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- food coloring (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In medium bowl, mix together the sugar and shortening until smooth. Add in the milk and vanilla and mix until stiff. An electric mixer works best for about 5 minutes. Add a teaspoon more of milk the frosting is too thick.
If desired, add a drop of food coloring. To have multiple colors, divide into separate bowls before adding food coloring. Add more drops to darken the color.
