- 1 loaf frozen bread dough
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 2 tablespoons white syrup
- butter, softened at room temperature
- white sugar
- cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Melt 1/4 cup butter, mix with brown sugar, cream and white syrup. Pour into bottom of greased 9×13 inch pan. Frozen bread dough can be thawed at room temperature until easily rolled out, or thawed in microwave for 10 minutes on lowest setting. Roll bread dough into 9×15 inch rectangle. Cover lightly with butter. Sprinkle lightly with white sugar and cinnamon. Roll loosely, slice every inch to make 15 rolls. Place on top of caramel mixture. Let rise. When doubled in size, bake in 350 degrees F oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Options: A) If in a hurry, heat oven to 200 degrees F, turn off and place rolls in oven. After about 30 minutes, or when they have raised enough, preheat oven and bake as above. B) May also make in the evening, refrigerate overnight, and make in the a.m.
