- apples, enough to fit in 6 ounce dish
- brown sugar
- butter
- dates (optional)
- raisins (optional)
- cranberries (optional)
DIRECTIONS
For each apple, remove core, rub with butter with your hands, and put in 6 ounce dish. In center of each apple put 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon butter.
Note: You may add dates, raisins, and cranberries in the sugar.
Put the 6 ounce dish in a 9×13 inch pan and put water in the 9×13 inch pan, up to half of the 6 ounce dish.
Bake uncovered at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes more.
