Such a fun project.</p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>INGREDIENTS</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 whole vanilla beans</li><li>1/2 pint  brandy or rum</li></ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>DIRECTIONS</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cut beans into 1 inch pieces.  Split pods open and drop into brandy.  Close bottle tightly and let stand one month before using.  Shake occasionally.  Can even be watered down a bit by adding water to brandy.
