Place on top 1 jar chunky salsa.  Next, brown 1 pound hamburger and chopped onion.  Cool meat and then sprinkle on top.  Next sprinkle 1 package sharp, finely shredded cheese on top of hamburger then top off with shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, and jalapenos.  Serve with tortilla chips.
