Roll out to fit [&hellip;]</p>\n","content":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Cook Time: 60 minutes</p></blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em>Submitted by Martha</em></p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>INGREDIENTS</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 cups flour</li><li>1 cup butter</li><li>1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water</li><li>3  eggs</li><li>1/2 teaspoon almond extract</li></ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Frosting:</em></strong></p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>1 cup powdered sugar</li><li>1 tablespoon butter</li><li>1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring</li><li>cream</li></ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>DIRECTIONS</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup butter and 2 tablespoons water. Roll out to fit 8&#215;13 inch pan.  Heat remaining water and butter to boiling point.  Remove from heat and add remaining flour and stir until smooth.  Stir in eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition.  Add almond extract.  Spread on top of crust mixture.  Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>FROSTING:  Combine 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon butter and 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring and enough cream for spreading consistency.
