You can use it on any cutout cookies or sugar cookies.</p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>INGREDIENTS</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 cups powdered sugar</li><li>1/4 cup shortening</li><li>2 tablespoons milk</li><li>1 teaspoon vanilla</li><li>food coloring (optional)</li></ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>DIRECTIONS</strong></p>\n\n\n\n<p>In medium bowl, mix together the sugar and shortening until smooth.  Add in the milk and vanilla and mix until stiff.  An electric mixer works best for about 5 minutes.  Add a teaspoon more of milk the frosting is too thick.  </p>\n\n\n\n<p>If desired, add a drop of food coloring.  To have multiple colors, divide into separate bowls before adding food coloring.
